At Queen City Ford, we believe that the strength of our business is directly tied to the strength of our community. That’s why one of our fundamental values has always been to give back to the places where we live, work, and grow. To embody this commitment, we launched the KindnessProject, which brings together our local friends, customers, employees, and various organizations to support our community in meaningful ways.

As we continue the KindnessProject, we’re excited to announce our major sponsorship of the EmPath For Autism foundation for the second consecutive year! Building on the success of last year’s “Circus Bizurcus” event, this year’s theme, “Circus Bizircus Lunar, a Party Beyond” promises to take the excitement to a whole new level.

The EmPath Autism Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides vital resources to families in the Greater Cincinnati area affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Earlier this year, we partnered with ABC Pediatric Therapy for a Sensory Toy Drive. The response was overwhelming—our Queen City Ford locations were brimming with carloads of sensory toys, all of which will support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

ABC Pediatric also shares valuable educational content on a wide range of Autism-related topics. One of their standout blog posts is titled, “Diagnosis and Early Intervention in Autism.” Be sure to check out their full blog for more insights.

Last year, EmPath’s fundraiser was a tremendous success, raising $67,000 for The Kelly O’Leary Center for Autism at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. These funds are directly supporting Project Echo, an initiative designed to extend autism diagnosis and treatment to rural communities around Cincinnati. Many of these areas are underserved, making it challenging for families to access necessary care. Project Echo aims to bring that care closer to home, empowering children with Autism Spectrum Disorder to thrive. With the right resources, these children can turn their ASD into a unique strength, greatly enhancing their families’ daily lives.

This year, Circus Bizircus Lunar aims to exceed last year’s achievements, and we’re committed to spreading the word to ensure it does. Mark your calendars for September 21, 2024, and join us at the Madison Theater for an unforgettable experience. For tickets or more information, CLICK HERE.

We at Queen City Ford are delighted to kick off another chapter of The Kindness Project! Launched by Mark Williams Auto Group and the Williams family in 2018, this initiative has previously included buying groceries for individuals, organizing toy drives, donating supplies to flood victims, and much more. Our mission with this project is to leverage our platform to assist local families in need.

Our latest chapter of The Kindness Project was a Sensory Toy Drive! This drive aimed to gather toys for children with Autism who are in need. You might be wondering, what are sensory toys? These toys are specifically designed with therapeutic benefits, stimulating a child’s senses of sight, hearing, and touch, and providing important feedback to their sensory system. Sensory toys can be incredibly beneficial for children with Autism!

We believe in the power of teamwork: for this initiative, we partnered with the EmPath for Autism Foundation and ABC Pediatric Therapy to collect and distribute these toys to local families in need. EmPath, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization created by the Williams family, serves as a resource for children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Mark Williams Auto Group will be sponsoring their annual fundraiser, Circus Bizircus Lunar, a spectacular event taking place in Covington, KY, on September 21st. Proceeds from this event will support the Kelly O’Leary Center For Autism Spectrum Disorders at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
ABC Pediatric Therapy played a crucial role in ensuring all collected toys reached deserving homes. Located in Cincinnati (Western Hills), ABC Pediatric Therapy offers high-quality pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy in a child-friendly environment. Their mission is to “create the best life for all children.” The Mark Williams Auto Group team is proud to work closely with both of these remarkable organizations. For more details on their services, ABC also runs an informative blog covering a wide array of child development topics.

Curious about our Sensory Toy Drive promotion? Check out this video! Chloe Williams and Charlie Watson discuss sensory toys, show some excellent examples, and talk about how Autism awareness has inspired major retailers to ensure sensory toys are available for everyone. Great options for sensory toys can be found at Wal-Mart, Target, and even on Amazon!

Our Sensory Toy Drive ran for two weeks, with collection points at all Mark Williams Auto Group locations. After the drive concluded, the Williams family delivered all the toys to ABC Pediatric Therapy for distribution. We are honored to announce that, thanks to the support of our staff, customers, friends, and family, we were able to donate an entire SUV load of toys to children in our community!

At Mark Williams Auto Group, we do our best to support all active and retired Ford employees and enjoy spending time at our Local 863 during their monthly meetings. Beechmont Ford, Mt. Orab Ford, and Queen City Ford are all 5-star dealerships, and each location sponsors a lunch for the Local 863 every year. Mt. Orab Ford was the presenting sponsor for the March, 2024 meeting.

We had David Godbey (Fixed Operations Director, Mark Williams Auto Group), Bob Creed III (Sales, Queen City Ford), and Charlie Watson (Marketing Director, Mark Williams Auto Group) representing our group, and supporting the retirees. They spent time catching up and exchanging stories with the retirees and other members of the Local 863.

Charlie went on stage and shared the exciting news that our group purchased Woody Sandy Ford and renamed it Queen City Ford! He also shared retail information and incentives with the retirees to give them a glimpse of what we are seeing on the dealer level.

We would like to thank UAW President, Tod Turner, and Retiree Chair, Jim Siuda for allowing us to sponsor this awesome event!

The Mark Williams Auto Group team was honored to help McNicholas High School surprise students last week by wheeling out a brand new 2023 Ford Bronco Sport onto the stage at their latest assembly. When the curtain opened, our very own Chloe Williams drove the vehicle out for the big reveal! Students went wild as they found out that the Bronco Sport was up for grabs in this year’s Rocket Raffle fundraiser. Raffle tickets are on sale until 2/8/2024 at 11:55 pm. Don’t miss out! They are $25 each, or five for $100, and can be bought here! All proceeds from the Rocket Raffle will go towards tuition assistance for students at the school.

70% of students at McNich benefit from some type of tuition assistance at the school, and while you can’t put a price on a good education, every parent can breathe a sigh of relief when costs go down. The raffle is open to everyone, with anyone above the age of 18 eligible to win. If you’re feeling particularly generous, you can pledge your donation on behalf of a member of the student body, faculty, or staff. The winner will be announced at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game February 9th. You do not need to be present to win.

McNicholas is one of Cincinnati’s premier catholic private schools, with 99% of the student body going on to further their education in post-secondary and colleges. With class sizes of only 12 students to the teacher, it is a great place for individualized attention and enhanced growth. If you’d like to support someone in kelly green and help a student “find their brilliance”, you can click here to donate!

Disclaimer: Mark Williams Auto Group is not associated with or involved in the actual raffle and is only supporting the school through selling them the Bronco Sport and by helping promote the fundraiser. Must be 18 years old to participate. To read the program rules and/or learn more, please click HERE.
